Hi,

I am trying to build a project with ccs

When i press `build` on the project it cleans it and then it's stuck without any message / output( see screenshot)

I tried re installing ccs, cleaning the cache and i still can't get it working.

Do you know what could cause this?

Hello,

What version of CCS are you using? Can you try "Rebuilding" the project instead of using "Build"?

Hi, rebuilding doesn't make any difference

I realised this was happing when I was moving to another branch which didn't have a folder present in the project.

It looks like a problem with indexing when changing the project structure via a git branch change

HI Sorin,

Can you send us the log files? You can goto the Help -> Support dialog, click on the 'Archive Logs' button at the bottom in the dialog. There should be a 'ccs_logs.zip' file generated at the selected folder.

Hi Sorin,

Could you try closing CCS, then deleting directory C:\Users\nuno.goncalves\AppData\Local\Texas Instruments\CCS\.ccs-server\workspaces\0252f9e7087381aff5cc10e83fa85706, and then re-starting CCS?

Hi Baltasar,

We tried that and we still get the issue. The only way we got it back working was to delete the workspace/project and clone again but obviously this is inconvenient if you have to do it every time you need changing a branch

I assume you mean deleting the entire c:\Users\nuno.goncalves\workspace_ccstheia folder which also contained the project folder? Once this folder was deleted and you cloned the project again into a new workspace folder, it worked?

After you deleted your workspace, are you still encountering this issue?
