TMS320F280034-Q1: Input current on VDAC pin tolerable when Device itself is not powered.

Hi,

Customer is in situation that current design TMS320F280034-Q1 is not powered, but VDAC input pin sees 3.3V w/ a current of 33mA.

Is this tolerable or does he needs to change the design?

    Marcus,

    We don't allow any pin of the device to be powered above VDDA/VDDIO, so in this case it is violating the DS requirement.  Customer will need to re-design.  Risk is long term damage to the device if this pin violates the condition I mentioned.
