Solar Inverter MPPT without buck/boost circuit

Hi,

I've researching solar inverters with MPPT for the past week. I found some papers directly controlling the inverter to do MPPT and others incorporate a buck/boost stage first to control the voltage at the solar cells output. I found the later more intuitive and easier although it takes more PWM modules. Can anyone expailn how to do the MPPT without the buck/boost stage and provide the required grid input at the same time?

Hi,

I didnt do any simulation yet. However, I found out that in order to control a three phase inverter, it is best to use Space Vector Modulation (SVM), since it can promptly do it for the three phases.

I found this paper that adequately describe the whole system including the MPPT.

However, you can replace the "bang bang" current controller by the SVM. I appreciate if we, and hopefully others, can cooperate in this.
