I ask this for my customer. My customer want to know F2800156QPMRQ1's lifespan

I provide this MTBF and FIT Rate Estimator to customer, and in our test, we test our device for 100 hours at 125°, but they want to know how to get the Equivalent product lifespan of our device based on this test report?

Hi Shuqing, please review this app note to see if it helps the customer understand how to calculate the lifetime based on the mission profile of the application. Keep in mind it is important to understand how much of the device operation will actually be at 125C to determine the estimate lifetime.

Shuqing; It does depend on how long the application runs at higher temperatures. Also note, most system mission profiles are based on an ambient temperature and the junction temperature will vary for each device. I'd estimate about 10 to 15C for this type of IC.

There are multiple reference profiles for automotive applications and generally a grade 1 device can be used in passenger cars (driving or changing) and still be operating within the useful lifetime.
