Hello,

I've encountered a bug in my product that happens once in many power cycles.

This is a big problem, and I'd like to be able to debug it when it happens by attaching debugger to a running device.

After researching the web, I've tried to connect to target by loading only symbols and enabling real time mode, but I get this error:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -1133 @ 0x0)
Device blocked debug access because it is currently executing non-debuggable code. You may retry after the device has had time to enter debuggable code, or you may cancel, disable realtime mode, and then attempt to connect.
(Emulation package 9.6.0.00172)

Hi Zvi,

What is the bug you are seeing? Is this something you could also evaluate and understand by continuously sending the data out of the device through a DAC or communication protocol?

In terms of connecting to the device with a debugger, do you need to be able to use the real-time debug mode to connect to the device? That looks to be what is causing the connection issue. You may also need to define a custom GEL file (https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide/gel/functions_list.html) for connecting to the target without performing device reset
