TMS320F28388D: ASIL compliance

Thanks for the response. But we need an active controller part having Asil-D/ ASIL-C equivalent with Lockstep mechanism and resolver are the vital criteria.

How about F28P659DK8PTPQ1 or AM263P4 we have our requirements covered in these IC's?

F28P65 does have lockstep option on the 2nd CPU only, and is ASIL-D systematic.  From a resolver standpoint I think the F29H is a better option. Again, I'm trying to get our automotive team to join the conversation.

I thought you were only interested in C2000 option since on this forum, but yes, the AM2612, AM263P4 devices are also used in these applications and meet the requirements.

Thanks for the response. We need to know some more details about AM263P4 for:

• Support for Field-Oriented Control (FOC) of high-power BLDC/PMSM motors
• Features such as PWM-ADC synchronization, RDC, encoder/sensorless feedback, and support for high-frequency switching
• Availability of a motor control library
• Example source code for motor control applications
• A configuration tool or GUI support
• Model-Based Development (MBD) support with Simulink/MATLAB blocksets
• Toolchain and ecosystem support for aerospace-grade development

Additionally, it'll be helpful if you suggest any other IC's with better compatibility.
