LAUNCHXL-F28379D: LED blinking takes longer than 1 sec

I am trying to use the timer with ISR to turn on and off the LED on the board after each second but it takes longer than 1 second to turn the led on and off, wondering if the clock frequency is 200 MHZ or by default it is less than that ?

    Hi Sana,

    Can you share more details about your CPU timer configurations - which period and prescaler values are you using? Are you using Sysconfig for your configurations? The default SYSCLK frequency will likely be 200MHz for this device, yes. If using the LaunchPAD, make sure to add the below as a predefined symbol in your project so that the correct device initializations are executed.
