TMS320F2800137: F2800137 - I2C bus corruption when slave device removed

Part Number: TMS320F2800137

Tool/software:

Hello,

Our controller F200137 is communicating by I2C to a slave device and when the slave device is removed the I2C bus gets corrupted and the target controller cannot read/send command over the I2C bus to the remaining slave devices.

What is the best SW solution to solve this issue?

thanks

Francesco

  • Hi Francesco,

It is recommended to ensure the target is fully completed its transfer and is disabled when being removed from the bus. If it is possible for the controller to be in an idle state when the target is removed, this could be helpful as well but not required. Do all the targets share the same address? Please share more details about the issue, so I can help further.

    Best Regards,

    Aishwarya
