Can you try including "dacOut.h", not "dacOut.c"? Instead of including .c files, the standard and recommended practice is to use header files (.h) for declarations/includes and compile .c files separately.

Please also verify that your Path Variables (Project Properties > Resource > Linked Resources) are correct.

I included the .h file but the error remains identical to the screenshot in the main post

I believe I found the issue. There are a bunch of outdated, unresolved include paths in the "Includes" folder for the project. These don't exist in the F28P55x_FLASH build configuration and I'm able to get past the #1965 compilation error.

Was this project created with an older version of CCS and then imported into v12?

You could try directly editing the .cproject file in the project root folder. We generally advise modifying these Eclipse project files with caution, so I would suggest first making a back-up copy of your existing .cproject in case you need to revert back to it. Then search in the file for "--include_path". Under that there should be a list of include paths enclosed within <listOptionValue> tags. Delete the ones you want and save the file. Make sure you are modifying it for the build configuration of interest, as there may be more than one set depending on the number of build configurations for the project.

I am attaching the file again, just in case something has changed since the old one I sent you ... I would not like to have included or removed any pathways to do further tests. From now on I will not touch it again until we solve the problem.

Yes check the other build settings and make sure they are what you expect. Remember that settings at the project level have no impact on anything in the libraries folder.

Prefer to wait a few days before closing it .. I would not like to open another one of the same kind in case the problem is still the inclusion of the file

Based on the errors in the Problems view, they look like syntax type issues.
