TMS320F28P650DK: Issue of minimum pad size

Hi experts,

My customer requires 6mil line width and line spacing on PCB when using F28p65.

They want know the whether the pad size can be set to 0.35mm (the default size is 0.4mm, and in our controlcard PCB file, the line width and line spacing is 5mil)?  

The package our customer use is ZEJ0256A

    Hi Leo,

    Any particular reason why customer needs to increase trace width to 6mil?  Control card has 0.4mm and 5mil is working fine.  Are they wanting to move to 6mil trace for manufacturing issues or something else?  ZEJ package was designed with the min pad diameter of 0.4mm, anything smaller might cause some other manufacturing issues like solderability,  Customer should also check with their board manufacturer if changing to 0.35mm pad size would not cause any other issues.
