LAUNCHXL-F280049C: Missing TIDM-02007 Dual-Axis Motor Control Example in MotorControl SDK 5.04

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F280049C
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE, SFRA, TIDM-02007

Tool/software:

Hello,

I am working with the LAUNCHXL-F280049C and installed the C2000Ware MotorControl SDK v5.04.00.00.
According to the documentation, the TIDM-02007 Dual-Axis Motor Drive using FCL & SFRA on a single MCU should be included in the SDK under Solutions.

However, in my installation I cannot find the tidm_02007_dual_axis_motor_drive project (neither in the local SDK folder nor in the Resource Explorer inside CCS, which only shows Development Kits, Documentation, Libraries, and Resources – but no Solutions).

Could you please clarify:

  • Is TIDM-02007 still part of the MotorControl SDK, and if so, in which version?

  • Where can I download the CCS project files for F28004x (F280049C) Dual-Axis motor control?

  • Should I import it via Resource Explorer (Online), or is there a direct ZIP package available on the TI website?

Thank you very much for your support.

  • The project has a different name than you might expect. Per the documentation, refer to the following project in the MCSDK:

    • {MCSDK Install Directory}\solutions\boostxl_3phganinv

I'd personally recommend downloading the full MCSDK for ease of access, but if that's not feasible, you should be able to use resource Explorer without issue.

    Regards,
    Jason Osborn
