TMS320F28377D: Flash issue: Flash will be erased to all 0000 after power cycle

The related previous discussion is: TMS320F28377D: cannot pass boot_rom code in customer design.

Customer report one of the MCU keep restarting in free run mode, the issue is narrowed down to flash: Flash is cleared, so no program will go into ITRAP and reset:

The NMISHDFLG is set, it indicates: C28 Flash uncorrectable error condition generated.

I go to check the start address 0x80000, all the flash is cleared to 0, once I power up the device. 

I think we should look into the issue that why flash is cleared to 0 after device power cycle, any hardware setup need to be checked and does BU suggest customer return for this issue?

    Has any DCSM configuration been done on this device?

    Hi Alex 

    No DCSM configuration in this device. and I can access to the device memory, erase the 0000 data to change the flash to FFFF, then program the firmware. but if I power cycle the board then reconnect the emulator, the device memory will become all 0000.

    You can also refer to the attached previous E2E thread, the device will restart automatically, it looks like there is no program in the device memory.
