TMS320F28388D: XRSN reset delay / Trip solution

Part Number: TMS320F28388D

Tool/software:

Hi Experts,

My customer is concerned with the trip strategy upon XRSn,

Our understanding is that XRSn would reset most of registers immediately, including setting all GPIO to Hi-Z input. In customer is power topology, setting all ePWM signals to Hi-Z at the same instant would cause serve damage. To avoid damage, they need to trip some of the PWM later than some others.

Is there any mechanism we can utilize to achieve this? (For example, is there delay between XRSn and the actual delay, so that they can do something before the GPIOs are reset.

Regards,
