I am trying to run the CPU1 echoback solution example on the launchpad by following the steps listed in the EtherCAT SubordinateDevice Controller Software USER’S GUIDE. Prior to this, I was successfully able to run the cpu1_pdi_hal_test example. I am using C2000ware 5.04.00.00 and SSC tool V5i13. I followed steps 1 through 13 in section 3.2 to generate subordinate device files, add them to the example project, import, build and flash to the launchpad. After I reprogram the EEPROM with the relevant files for the echoback example (section 4.4, step (vi) in the user guide), the subdevice is no longer detected in TwinCAT. The device is detected again if I revert back to running the pdi_hal_test example.
