TMS320F28P650DK: Meaning of minimum EPWM pulse 20 ns

Part Number: TMS320F28P650DK

Tool/software:

Hi Champs,

I am asking this for our customer.

In the TRM,

https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/tms320f28p650dk

In the EPWM spec "Pulse duration, PWMx output high/low", it says 20 ns.

When EPWM is in 200 MHz (5ns), it means:

1. If the user uses EPWM up-count and sets action qualifier: ZRO high, CAU low. If CAU = 1 or 2 or 3 or 4, then output duty will always be 20 ns.

Is my understanding correct?

2. Like the above, if CAU = 5, then the output duty can be 25 ns.

Is my understanding correct?

3. This 20 ns min exists in other devices like P55x as well, so it does not matter the EPWM clock used, the minimum duty can only be 20 ns on F28P65x and P55x.

Is my understanding correct?
