Hi Champs,

Can customer connect the F28P65x EtherCAT without a PHY?

They want to remove the PHY by connecting MII/RMII signals directly.

If possible please let me know the example project or the reference guide.

    Hi ted,

    MII to MII connection is not recommened for EtherCAT as it's unclear how features like link detection and port state management works without MDIO, which is essential in EtherCAT. There are also additional risk due to reduced latency for communication (due to missing PHYs)
