BLDC_Sensorless_F2803x.out not found

Hi:

I am working with the DRV8312 Development Kit and am trying to load a program for the first time. While in debug I have received the error

C:\TI\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV8312-C2-KIT_v124\BLDC_Sensorless\F2803x_RAM\BLDC_Sensorless_F2803x.out

not found

I looked in that directory and sure enough, that .out file is not there.

Out of curiosity I looked in another directory and found a similar .out file where I bolded the differences:

C:\TI\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV8312-C2-KIT_v124\PM_Sensorless\F2803x_RAM\PM_Sensorless_F2803x.out

is present.

How do I obtain my missing .out file?

Looking at the folders it is clear that neither of the BLDC projects was ever built in the released folder structure. If they were a folder for the release would have been created. All you need to do to create the .out is import the project in CCS and Build All. This will create

C:\ti\controlSUITE\development_kits\DRV8312-C2-KIT_v124\BLDC_Sensorless\F2803x_RAM

I've attached the .out as well

BTW - I highly recommend looking at the sensorless InstaSPIN-BLDC project instead. A much more robust and easy to use technique!
