Hi,
I need to design a BLDC motor driver board which can drive 5 BLDC motors at the same time. Assuming that each BLDC motor requires 6 PWM channels, the number of total PWM channel need of my design is 30. TMS320F28377D is the best option for this purpose. However, it has 24 PWM outputs (12 PWMs and A and B outputs). I am planning to use DRV8353HMRTAT drivers in 3x PWM Mode by connecting mode pin to GND through 47kΩ. In that way, the number of total PWM channel of the design reduces to 15. Please see the following table that shows the PWM connections to the drivers. With this configuration, my concern is that, is it possible to drive 5 BLDC motors independently in terms of duty cycle, frequency etc. ?
Thanks,
Sergen
