What is the correct approach that should be follow to ensure data integrity in data transferred from the CLA to the c28 and vice versa when using

Cla1ToCpuMsgRAM  : > CLATOCPURAM
CpuToCla1MsgRAM  : > CPUTOCLARAM

Is the Memory Controller Module CLA, DMA, and CPU Arbitration enough or should be implemented some software level arbitration?

Hi Frederico,

I believe the arbitration scheme done by the CLA/CPU hardware arbitration should offer enough protection for these memories, especially since only one core has write access for each. We have a software example showing usage of the MSGRAMs in C2000ware path: /driverlib/f28p65x/examples/c28x/cla/cla_ex2_atan. You can follow the software implementation with the MSGRAMs done here.

I've checked the examples, couldn't find any case were the CLA runs in parallel of the core. Usually the examples waits for the CLA to finish before reading Cla1ToCpuMsgRAM.
