watchdog INT

Hi!

I have the following situation:

I have 2 interrupts, ADCINT1 and XINT1. In XINT1, I have a while loop where I wait for a GPIO to go LOW. I wanted to see what happens if it doesn’t, so I keep it HIGH. The watchdog will not be serviced and I get an interrupt. In the watchdog INT, I set the PWMs to LOW. I can see this reaction of the system on the oscilloscope.  In Code Composer I get an error and I can’t use it anymore to see what is happening. I suppose it’s because the running is kept in the infinite while loop, in XINT1. If after this I put the GPIO in LOW, the system doesn’t react. I’ve checked if ADCINT1 or XINT1 are still triggered, but they are not. As I read the GPIO state in XINT1, it’s clear why the system doesn’t react. But what happens when the watchdog timer expires? Can I come back to normal operation after the timer expires?

Thank you,

Monica
