TMS320F2800137: TMS320F2800137

Part Number: TMS320F2800137

Tool/software:

Hi,

For TMS320F2800137RHB (32pins version), due to size issue, we need to use 5x5 package.

I would like to ask pin12, A4/C14, CMP2_HP0, CMPSS-2 High Comparator Positive Input 0.

Could this pin use for primary OCP/current mode input of ""phase shifted full bridge converter""? Or other better pins for primary OCP/current mode?

Our PWM assignment

Pin 25 GPIO4 PWM3A: SR1

Pin 26 GPIO3 PWM2B: Primary PWM2B

Pin 27 GPIO1 PWM1B: Primary PWM1B

Pin 28 GPIO0 PWM1A: Primary PWM1A

Pin 29 GPIO7 PWM2A: Primary PWM2A

Pin 30 GPIO5 PWM3B: SR2

Pin 31 GPIO29 PWM7B: Active Clamp snubber 1

Pin 32 GPIO29 PWM7A: Active Clamp snubber 2

Thanks

Regards

Andrew

  • Yes, for AC (bidirectional) current protection, I see the pin function CMPSS2 positive inputs CMP2_HP0 or CMP2_LP0 in the pinmux. That lets you use the CMPSS’s High comparator for the positive half-cycle and the Low comparator for the negative half-cycle (with the internal DACs setting two thresholds), and then route the CTRIP outputs into ePWM Trip-Zone/DC events.
