Hello,

I purchased the TMDXIDDK379D board and noticed that it has three connectors for external GPIO use.

What I find surprising is that if we want to use a GPIO for external purposes, the TMDXIDDK379D seems very limited.

Could you suggest a way to access unused GPIOs through an external plug or something similar connected to the HSEC180?

Tarik,

You can do blue wiring in HSEC pad to access any unused pin.

Regarding your question on Three connector for external GPIO, what connectors numbers are you mentioning here?

I'm using the default HSEC.

Is there an adapter to connect to H7 or H8, that lets me access unused GPIO pins?

Unfortunately, there is no standard adapter that will allow you to access unused GPIO. You can use surface pads on the traces that connects to these connectors on this PCB or those pads of H7 and H8 via soldering the wire on either of those pads.
