TMS320F28379D: CCS, include and linker errors

Part Number: TMS320F28379D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Tool/software:

Hello there

I’m not new, but despite my research, I have two problems I haven’t been able to solve. I would be grateful for your help.

I’m having issues including various libraries or files. Specifically, I tried to make the C2000Ware libraries a direct part of my project. To do this, I copied folders like driverlib and common into my project and attempted to include them. However, even after adding the folders containing the relevant headers and source files to the include options, the #include lines still produce errors.
I want to share a particular detail: while trying to understand my mistake, I restored a backup of the project. I made edits in the include options, and then started receiving errors. I reverted everything back to its original state, but the errors persist. The backup compiles successfully, but the project I modified and then restored gives me a #1965 error. Am I overlooking a detail?

Also, if you can share an article explaining how include system works "exactly" for dummies, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks, regards
