Hi Expert, 

I am confusion for pin1 direction. in the datasheet, we need to find the pin 1

but in the real chip, there are 2 point, which one should be right?

    Hi Chi,

    Looking at your image, the dot on the lower-left corner of the package (indicated by your bottom arrow) is the correct Pin 1 indicator for the TMS320F280039C.

    The upper-right arrow in your image points to a laser marking or logo (the TI logo area), that’s not related to pin orientation. Only the dot / notch / chamfer defines pin 1.
