TMS320F28P650DK: What is the best way to initialize all peripheral configuration registers?

Hello.

I am looking for a way to initialize the peripheral configuration registers(GPIO, CAN and so on) set during the initialization phase.

I want to use that function before going to the bootloader.

Hi Siwon,

I will recommend that you look at your examples provided in C2000Ware package. Pay attention to the driverlib SysConfig examples. Depending on which peripherals you will need for you application, you can look at the various example configurations and copy the SysConfig settings to an empty driverlib project. This should then allow the code generated to provide you the code you desire.

Hi Ozino,

I looked at the examples in C2000Ware, but they don't seem to be what I'm looking for. I think I may have misexpressed something in my initial question. What I'm looking for is not initialization but a reset. I'm trying to find a function that resets the peripheral configuration registers to their initial state (0).

Hi Ozino,

That thread is exactly what I was looking for.

Instead of directly accessing the SOFTPRES registers, I used the SysCtl_resetPeripheral() function.
