LAUNCHXL-F29H85X: needs to convert CAN FD example into classic CAN

You can use the sysconfig to config the MCAN for classic CAN.

i have did the above changes in sysconfig itself. but still I am unable to see any messages in PCAN-View. please suggest anything i am missing.

Please double check if all nodes on the network use the same baudrate, similar sample point (for example 80% or 85%).

Did you see any waveform on CAN us using a scope?

While testing the CAN interface on the F29H85x microcontroller using the provided sample code (without any modifications), I attempted to observe the signal waveforms on the CANH and CANL lines using an oscilloscope. However, no waveform activity was detected on either line.i have tried on CANATX as well as CANARX pin also.

The F29x SDK example is for 256-pin ZEX package. But the launchpad uses 144-pin RFS package. On launchpad, the GPIO64 and GPIO65 are routed to CAN transceiver. Please update the pins used for MCAN in your code.

The Dip switch S4 on Launchpad should be set correctly to use GPIO64/65 for MCAN.

I have configured GPIO64 and GPIO65 as MCANRX and MCANTX respectively, as per the recommended settings. The DIP switch S4 is set correctly to route these pins to the onboard CAN transceiver. However, after applying the configuration and running the code, I am unable to observe any waveform on GPIO64 or GPIO65 using an oscilloscope.

Please advise if there are additional steps required for enabling the MCAN peripheral or if any specific message RAM or clock settings need to be verified.

The example is tested on SOM board which uses 256pin package. The launchpad uses 144 pin package. To use this example on launchpad, you need to make some changes in sysconfig:

1. switch package: 256pin ZEX package --> 155pin RFS package 

2. Change the CAN signal pinmux:
