Hi,

I am working on EtherCAT communication on the TMS320F28P65x and have configured EtherCAT for CPU2. When I connect to the EtherCAT master and start debugging from the second run onward, CPU2 always jumps into the illegal ISR handler. Before debugging, I have to reset the MCU; only then can I run the debug session without errors, and EtherCAT connects successfully. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Hi, Which example are you using. If you have built some custom example please recheck the linker files and configuration parameter in project spec file particularly the entry_point , (compare with existing examples). If this does not resolve please share the file in zip.

I run the example f28p65x_cpu2_echoback_solution, It ok with example f28p65x_cpu1_echoback_solution but when run example for cpu2, I must reset system before run debug

Can you share the exact steps how you are running the program ? (because I see the build configuration not available for launchpad.)
