Hi experts,

My customer have a question regarding the 280023C: does it have a dedicated reset macro definition specifically for the checksum calculator? I was able to find a software reset macro (as shown in Figure 1), but nothing specifically for the checksum calculator.

I also performed a global search for "checksum" and reviewed the chip manual. Most of the references seem to be related to checksum modes or handling checksum fault flags (as shown in Figure 2).

If there is no dedicated macro definition for this, is there any way to do checksum calculator reset without performing a full software reset?

    Hi,

    I dont see dedicated checksum reset, what is the expectation of the user for resetting just checksum ? Can user not configure checksum to reset value instead ?

    There is peripheral reset only that is found in Global control registers for LIN_SCI
