TMS320F28377D: EtherCAT Unsupported Access to an Object Error for New Objects

Below is a screenshot of the issue. The issue is only occurring when using the object type OCTETSTRING.

When you added the objects , did you check if the object registration was successful and did you check the sm configuration registers (0x800 - 0x80f), these address will tell the start address , length and control register settings where you can check if write permission is there or not. 

I checked the object dictionary using the CTT software and the object seems to be configured properly both in the offline and online dictionaries. For the SM configuration, I checked the ESI file and the Mailbox tab in the CTT and it shows

Start Address: 0x1000/0x1080 (Out/In)
Length: 128
Control Byte: 0x26/0x22 (Out/In)

Does this mean that I will not be able to make objects with an odd word offset with this device? I am being required by to make some odd word objects to meet ETG requirements, will this not be possible?

Have you built custom code , or using existing example to build new code? Can you tell / share which  files(public) are you using. I have sent a friend request , i can share the my mail address there.
