When I was using single-byte reading, the program suddenly crashed. After further investigation, I found this issue here. I would like to ask if this semicolon is written incorrectly? And why is it that when performing single-byte reading, no stop signal is detected here?

Yes, the semi-colon written incorrectly.

What is the issue when you trying to read single byte? Can you take a look at the I2C Status register and let me know which flags are set.

Single-byte reading, no stop signal was detected, so it remained stuck in the while loop, resulting in the watchdog reset.I have tried to observe situations where only single bytes occur, but it's only a possibility. Reading two bytes will not result in undetectable situations.

This problem is quite easy to reproduce. I suggest you give it a try on your end. After I removed the semicolon, my problem was solved. Thank you.
