Please refer to diagnostic library in the C2000WARE to see the example for how to run tests on LCM. Find the diagnostic library and examples under /libraries/diagnostic.

F28P650DK7 has no lockstep as description on datasheet, how can this device do self-check without LCM?

If there is no LCM then what do you intend to self-check?

Self-test/check is for diagnostic module if used but if there is no LCM there is no need to self-check.
