CCSTUDIO-THEIA: *.ccxml

I imported a TMS320F28054 project from CCS12 to CCS20. While importing CCS12 project, the .ccxml file was not copied. The project can be built, but pressing debug has did not initiate debugging. I strongly suspect that it relates to lack of .ccxml file. So is there a guideline about how to generate the same? Also can there be any other issue for not starting debug session?

Hi Milind,

The ccxml is required for connecting to the device. You should be able to add the ccxml even if it wasn't copied over originally. Otherwise, if you create a file with the extension .ccxml, then you will anyways be able to manually create this file through the target configuration GUI in CCS

Since there's a GUI, the only thing you really need to select is the device itself, the rest is usually standard and doesn't require customization
