F29H859TU-Q1: Flashing a multi-core project

Part Number: F29H859TU-Q1

Is there an exact sequence how to succesfully load and run an example project like the multi-core blinky? This should include configuration of bank-mode, loading, connecting and so on. Does it need X.509 on FP-HS SSU mode? It does not work for me - keep telling me that CPU is possibly stuck at a persistent fault state.

  • Yahali,

The sequence is listed within the comments of the .c file within the example projects such as C:\ti\c2000\f29h85x-sdk_1_02_00_00\examples\driverlib\multi_core\led\led_ex2_blinky_cpu1_cpu2_cpu3_multi. When building the project, make sure you build the top-level system project instead of the individual CPUx projects. Yes, a dummy certificate is needed regardless of HSM modes. More information in the SDK README, and I'm working on updating documentation to explain this process further.

Please CPU reset + power cycle the device and try again. Let me know what your exact steps are too, so I can assist you further.

    Best Regards,

    Aishwarya
