Hi Team,

Hello,
WROSC can vary between 20-70MHz but has a typical value between 30-40MHz. The frequency varies device to device. TI does not recommend using WROSC to source the PLL.

Matt
Hi Matt,
Why WROSC is have a very large range? If it not recommend using WROSC, why we put it in F28E12?
Best Regards,
Zane
Hello Zane,
Please refer to the TRM for reasoning. WROSC is intended to only clock the watchdog timers and MCD circuit, serving as a backup oscillator.

Matt
