TMS320F28P550SJ: BISSC integration troubleshooting

Hello,

I've been playing around with the BISSC libraries for fp65x and I was able to integrate the same libraries in the fp55x. However, I have one missing feature that I would like implement. I would like to eliminate the SPISTE from the SPI peripheral configuration to avoid having a pin use for nothing as the CLB already overrides the SPI STE PIN. Is there any way to aovid having to configure the GPIO as SPISTE and usign for other things?

I believe that you should be able to configure the pin as a GPIO and use it as such. The CLB is overriding the actual SPI STE signal at the peripheral module and not leveraging any of the GPIO function.

Great, thanks for the confirmation, found out there was a bug in other part of the code causing to not work at the same time I eliminateed the gpio PTE pin. All solved now.
