TMS320F28P650SK: I2C bus idle SCL always keeps in low

Part Number: TMS320F28P650SK

Hi Champ,

I am asking for my customer.

The MCU I2C is set as controller, and doing the transmittion with LCD (target) on their main board. There do have weak pullup (4.7k Ohm) at MCU SDA / SCL side.

In IDLE bus, SCL always keeps in low. Besides target could do the clock stretch to pause communication, what else could cause the SCL coming from MCU (controller) keeping low when bus is IDLE ?

Here is the snapshot from LA, seeing SCL in low when Bus is IDLE in scope as well.

Thanks,
