Sorry for our delayed response.  We will be on holiday break until Jan 5 and will review and respond at that time.

Would be good to elaborate on what a CMPSS circuit is so we can understand the context.

CMPSS stands for comparator subsystem and is an IP integrated within our C2000 microcontrollers. The core of it is a pair of comparators with option for 12-bit internal DACs supplying the inverting input.
