Hi,

 We're planning to use TPS3435BFADADDFRQ1 in our application to control the reset pin of TMS320S28377SPTPT.Requesting to guide me for the below mentioned queries.

Query 1:

Propagation delay time of TPS3435BFADADDFRQ1:

In the IC TPS3435BFADADDFRQ1, Within the Watchdog timeout period, the Watchdog monitors the MCU. Query is when the MCU didn't send any input pulse within the timeout period, Watchdog timer sends low signal from WDO pin to reset the MCU. Query is what is the propagation delay time for the WDT to comes from high state to low state.

Query 2:

Watchdog enable and disable using SET0 and SET1 pins:

In TPS3435BFADADDFRQ1 IC they are using pinout B configuration. Here there is absence of WD_EN pin. Query is how shall we enable or disable the watchdog timer using the SET0 and SET1 pins.

    Hi Durga,

    1. We do not measure classify/guarantee the propagation delay time, this transition happens almost immediately.

    2. For the B pinout the watchdog will be disabled in the SET[1:0] = 0b'01 configuration. Meaning SET0 = 1 (high state) and SET1 = 0 (low state).
