TMS320F28035: page info in .cmd file

Part Number: TMS320F28035

Hi expert,

I have some questions about .cmd file:

  1. F28035 .cmd has two page: Page 0 as programmer memory and Page 1 as data memory. But in Gen 3 devices like F280039, we don't have page setup and combine them into one page. What's the key reason for these difference?
  2. In F28035,  is it fine to place data section at page 0? The background is that we are doing doing IEC certification and execute STL flash CRC, the result table is placed at page 1. However when generate hex file, we find a new .i10 file was created when we place at page 1, and this .i10 file will disappear when place at page 0. Is it fine to place FLASHCRC at page 0 here? image.pngimage.png
