when I use the micro to control my AC to DC converter I am loosing connection to the DSP. Is there some way I can make the connection more robust

    Hello,

    Can you share your JTAG schematic? What is the distance between the MCU and the JTAG header? Do you have a pull-down resistor on TRSTn? Please refer to Section 6.8.7 Emulation/JTAG in the datasheet for JTAG connectivity recommendations. 

    Please also verify that VDD, VDDIO, and TRSTn are also stable while connecting. You can also add pull-up resistors to TDI and TDO for noise filtering, generally we recommend 10kOhms.
