TMS320F28379D: Cannot open source file assert.h

I am importing an older version ccs project into the latest version. I am getting the following error while building:

"..\F2837xD_device.h", line 236: fatal error #1965: cannot open source file "assert.h"

Kindly let me know how to resolve this.

Hi,

Pls provide which versions of the tool chains you are using now and which ones were used previously.

1. CCS verstion

2. C2000Ware version

3 Compiler version

4. Which project are you importing ? Is it from C2000Ware

I got it done by taking an example project and modifying it.

I have one question on how to add the 'include' files in Compiler directory (pls see below image). If you add path, it is showing as incorrect path.

Hi,

This seems to be correct. What is the error that are you seeing after adding this path?

You need to add it (Compiler include folder path) in the Compiler -> Include options under the Project properties.

I wanted to know how to add folders in the compiler directory. You mentioned it. Thank you.
