This shouldn't be the expected behavior of the examples. They should be able to fully run and stop at the EMUSTOP0 on line 132. The results of ex1 can be seen by watching the InternalBuffer variable.

Can you confirm which CCS you are currently using and that the SDK in use is version 1.02.01.00?

this is how I import the project, you can see it's SDK 1.02.01, and this dependency is also set in project properties. Version of CCS is 20.0.2.

I do not see the behavior you described.

Downloaded CCS 20.4.1 and the problem reproduces on that version as well.

Can you also try downloading and using the latest syscfg? Currently I have confirmed that the example works using 1.26.0. 

Also you mention that that once DLT_enableModule() is called, debug is no longer possible. With this are you seeing any type of error being produced in the terminal, or is the project halted in someway?

CCS 20.4.1 I installed uses SysConfig version 1.26.0, it does not change the behavior. CCS 20.2.0 with Sysconfig 1.26.2 same.

Once DLT_enableModule() is called I can no longer step through code, InternalBuffer array contains zeroes and if I press pause this is where I end up:

If I press restart button without restarting the debug session, I get a warning "Target CPU may be stuck in a persistent fault state".
