F29H850TU: REFHI Driver

Hi team,

I am looking at the F29H85 REFHI driver. In my initial design, I have the REF2030 and the OPA328 as the buffer as per this white paper’s recommendation:

However, the capacitive load drive capability is quite low (in the pF) and the REFHI pins recommend around 20uF. Is this a compatible driver for this MCU?

    Hi Luke,

    Have you checked REF50xx (REF5030 for 3.0V VREF)?  This family of precision reference would work well with F29H850 devices.  It has an integrated output buffer and able to handle external caps up to 50uF.  This reference IC is actually used in the F29H85x LaunchPad and SOM.
