Hello team,

Is it possible to use RS-485 (differential) in this launch pad?

If we need external PHY, do we have some booster pack or EVM to connect RS485 PHY to this launch pad?

    Hi Kei,

    The SCI signals from the LaunchPAD headers are single ended and there is no on-board RS-485 transceiver for the LaunchPAD. You would need to route the SCI pins to an external RS-485 transceiver, we have some options here. You can also look through the compatible booster packs for this LaunchPAD here, however I'm not seeing any with RS-485 support. Please upvote this response if it answers your question.
