TMDSCNCD28388D: TMDSCNCD28388D: Status update requested for C2000DRIVERS (Ethernet/lwIP RX stall)

Part Number: TMDSCNCD28388D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Hello TI Support Team,

I am opening this new thread to request a status update on the Ethernet/lwIP RX stall issue, which is currently documented as known issue C2000DRIVERS.

Context: As discussed in the previous thread, the Ethernet RX stops under heavy UDP load, causing the ui32RXPbufAllocFailCount to increase continuously.

Two months ago, TI indicated that the fix was ready and targeted for the next release, which had an estimated date of February 24th. Since it is now April 5th and the new C2000Ware release does not appear to be available yet, I would like to ask:

  1. Could you provide an updated ETA for the C2000Ware release containing this fix?

  2. If the release is further delayed, would it be possible to share a standalone patch (e.g., the modified driver or f2838xif.c files) so we can manually apply the fix to our current SDK?

This bug is a significant bottleneck for our current development, so any immediate workaround or patch would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and support,

Pablo Cano
