TMS320F28388D: Power up sequence

What is the power-up sequence for TMS320f28388D? Is it mentioned in the Technical Reference Manual? I want to choose a low-cost option to replace the LDO TPS70345PWP, which was used in previous projects. What are the things I have to keep in mind while choosing the LDO ?

Hi Arya,

The power sequencing details are available in the datasheet (https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/tms320f28388d). See section 7.10.1.4.3.1 (Power Sequencing). LDOs should meet particularly the ramp up time (SR_xxx-UP). LDOs should also meet/exceed the maximum current rating of the F28388D as indicated in section 7.5.1 (System Current Consumption). Allow at least ~25% overhead for best practice.
