Hi team,

I ask this for my customer.

Our LIN is support LIN 1.3, LIN 2.0 and LIN 2.1

Customer want to check if LIN support SAE J2602?
I search it in enternet, it says SAE J2602 is derived from LIN 2.0

Is it means our LIN hardware support SAE J2602, but need more software configuration to compatibility with SAE J2602? If so, what's configuration customer should be pay attention to?

Hi Shuqing,

We are working on formally testing the LIN peripheral according to SAE J2602 standards right now on our F280015x device with third party IHR (F2820015x has the same LIN peripheral as F29x).

When does the customer need to know by? We should have results within the next week to few weeks (currently encountering a small delay in the process so I don't have a concrete timeline still).

Thanks for your reply.

Customer just want to check if it compliant with SAE J2602 firstly, they are not very urgent for the text report now
