TMS320F280039C: Produces message digest with crypto library in post-build way

Hi Champ,

I am asking for my customer.

As we have provided crypto library in SDK (libraries\security\crypto\c28), user could use the API (i.e. SHA) to hash messages and produce a 384-bit message digest.

Customer is wondering if it could be done in post-build way just like generating binary file as below post.

As long as user selects which algo. (bytewise/wordwise) to use in advance, they could directly get the digest after compiling the project. Is it possible to do such to produce message digest in post-build way?

Hi Johnny,

You can ask the customer to build a simple post-build script for generating the SHA, Using SDK API in post build step would not be possible, rather they can use the openSSL or python to generate the SHA
