LAUNCHXL-F28P65X: XDS110 Target Interface pinout on LAUNCHXL-F28P65X

The F28P65x LaunchPad includes an on-board XDS110 emulator. J101 is available if you wish to debug an external target with the on-board XDS110 debug probe. Please refer to the F28P65x LaunchPad User's Guide for more information:

I see that the pinout of the TI 14-pin connector for custom boards was listed in theF28P65x data sheet. I will refer to that.

Now, I understand that a special dedicated adapter is required for the J101 connector on the LAUNCHXL-F28P65X. From the F28P65x LaunchPad User's Guide, it seemed that the CTI-20 to TI-14 conversion adapter bundled with the XDS110 could be used as is, but that is not the case, right?

That's right, J101 != CTI-20. You will have to use another cable adapter to use J101.
