Hi Team,

I am planning to update the firmware through CAN boot mode. I got stuck with the tool required and the procedure to follow for implementing the code flash. I understood the .out file from the CCS tool is required for kernal flash into RAM of MCU (F28386S) but not able to find the clear procedure.

I request the team to provide me the tools, Hardware things required and the procedure to follow to implement a successful code flash with CAN boot mode.

I also tried to download flash kernal file, but only SCI file is available in the resource explorer @ (https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?isTheia=false&node=A__ALpecbAe50OX8kDIL-MUdQ__C2000WARE__1kRFgrO__LATEST) no CAN file is available

    Hi Naveen,

    We do have can flash kernel example for f28003x device in the sdk in the folder - c2000ware\driverlib\f28003x\examples\flash\CCS.

    You should be able to use similar steps for implementing in f2838x device.
